The recently concluded ADC Festival of Faith was attended by 76 churches from Agusan Del Norte, Agusan Del Sur and Butuan city areas. The estimated number of participants were more than 3,000 thus occupying the 3 basketball court – wide covered Gym of Agusan National High School in Butuan City.

CYF RUN FOR LUMADS
Last September, the Christian Youth Fellowship celebrated its active role as youth in the church and in the community. Aside from the usual activities being conducted during Youth Celebration such as, but not limited to bible studies, fellowships and praise nights, the CYF also boldly took a step in lobbying for one of the pressing issues in our society that caught not just the attention of Mindanao but the rest of the Philippines. The issue of human rights violations on our Indigenous Peoples in Mindanao truly is something that our church, especially the CYF has to act upon.
STATEMENT OF THE UCCP-NORTH LUZON JURISDICTION ON DAVAO CITY BOMBING
Jesus came so that “all may have life and have it in full.” (Jn. 10:10b) This is the reason why the UCCP believes in the sanctity of life. In her Statement of Faith (art 2) and its constitution and by-laws (art 2, sec 11) the UCCP declares that human beings are created in the image of God. This is also in line with the Jewish faith understanding declared in Genesis 1:26-27. It is in this faith conviction that the UCCP North Luzon Jurisdiction condemns in the strongest possible terms said bombing incident.
